About the Clinic
The Adult Psychiatry Department at Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière, one of the largest hospitals in Europe, offers rTMS as part of its innovative therapeutic platform. The STOCAD unit includes 7 beds dedicated to brain stimulation techniques including non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation and deep brain stimulation evaluation. The service is actively involved in a major multicentre clinical research program (TRD*TMS) studying the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of rTMS for treatment-resistant depression across 20 centers in France.
